Considering you can't build a PC without messing it up — or for that matter set up a torrent client, I think my "rubbish thoughts" are far more valid than yours.

It was sarcasm, you have absolutely no idea if you're infected or not. If you don't understand why some viruses can go undetected without you ever knowing they're there, not even a hint, then you can't comment on it, or make sarcastic remarks.

If you send it back, they will class it as faulty, as you've made it faulty and they have no way of knowing if it was you, which it obviously was, as gigabytes are very very unlikely to be faulty (even less than asus, and they are rock solid + heart touching (they touch your heart with their floppy interfaces))
