saw it this evening. dark, gory and laugh out loud funny.

great dialogue, interesting characters and the ending was a bolt from the blue thats for sure.

think I liked it more than Kill Bill but Id still place Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction over it as I thought some of the scenes were stretched a little further than they should have been.

I've still not seen it yet. I'm put off Tarantino after Death Proof which was just total crap: people can argue that it was a masterpiece as it wasn't a movie in the conventional sense but it was a terrible film. I like everything else he has done though so hopefully this will indeed be a return to form.

I loved Death Proof, but it is my least favourite of his films so far. It's widely misunderstood, you've just got to have an understanding of the exploitation cinema of the '60s and '70s to appreciate it.

Yeah, I have to say, as a less educated Film goer, I didn't really "get" Death Proof. I'm hoping to go see Inglorious though. I loved Dusk 'til Dawn. But B horror movies are a guilty pleasure of mine.

Loved it but still disappointing for myself, I was really expecting a movie of the year type movie, but I wouldn't put it in my top 3 (District 9, Up, Hangover). I thought there weren't any memorable lines or anything like that like there are in all Tarantino movies. Christoph Waltz (Landa) did a phenomenal job acting though, and Pitt was hilarious.

I didn't like the ending at all though. Throughout the entire movie Landa was a genius detective able to read every person he met, and he manipulated them so well, yet he somehow trusted Raine when it seemed obvious (even to Landa in the theatre) Raine isn't someone to trust.

Best part was definitely the entire theatre scene, really well done and kicked total ass. Christoph Waltz' acting alone is worth the price of admission.

Yeah, though Raine would have been shot had he killed Landa, so at least Landa lived

On set, everybody was in awe whenever Waltz was performing, he's truly phenomenal and I'm so glad Quentin cast him - he's just an Austrian TV actor - but showcasing himself in the film will definitely lead on to some more major roles in the future, and he deserves an Oscar without a doubt.

And it opens king of the box office at number one, as expected. With the biggest opening day of any Quentin Tarantino picture. Too bad his best friend Robert Rodriguez's new film Shorts didn't even make the top 5.
