To be honest, even if another version came along, it wouldn't be for at least another 4 years I would imagine.

I suggest you get Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (FS9) otherwise you will be disappointed. To answer your questions about there being another Flight Simulator, there will be, but simply not from the ACES team.

Yea, FS2004 is great. I have it and I love it. Get a joystick or a yolk though because it terrible if you have to play with the number keys!

I saw something a few weeks ago, two companies have decided to launch flight sims. One will be a global sim similar to the MSFS series and the other will be on a smaller scale but with more detail or something like that

I know Aerosoft is doing one for sure. That will include some lengthy detail but they have not released anything as far as specific dates go.

Hmm on FSX's website it said FS2004 doesn't have as good graphics or anything?

Well of course.. Microsoft are pushing sales towards a more latest product

Hmm reminds me I need to install Flight Simulator again (that's when I have enough space for Acceleration an' all). If not I'll find the disks for FS9.

Also what happened to that jetEngland that was ... I don't know ... hyped up, popular few weeks/months back?

    ay,

im new to flight sims and I got just installed flightgear. so far I've been working with a Cessena 172 and a Boeing 707. I learned how to start up, taxi, and takeoff with both, but I always have trouble controlling the plane. I can never seem to balance the plane. Even if the wings are balanced and the ball in the balance meter (or whatever it's called) is centered, the plane always drifts towards another direction. Any tips or anything you think I might be doing wrong?

Also, how on earth do you successfully land a plane? Even using google earth's flight simulator, which is relatively easy to use, I can never seem to line up the plane with the runway.

    Any help is appreciated.
