I'm taking computing too.. dunno the specific course yet but I will be starting uni at the same time as you.
ATM i'm looking at Coventry Uni and Brighton Uni. They both offer a robust lineup of computing courses![]()

I get bugger all in England. So it might actually be cheaper for me to go to Scotland...hmm. Cheers. She's sort of wrong but not? You get half price tuition fees and you apply through Student Finance England like anybody else. The only exception is that you may not be granted a bursary or scholarship thing which you could be entitled for in England. You gotta weigh up which is cheaper.
I've been looking at Brighton, lots of nice courses. My Brother goes to Warwick Uni which is actually nearer to Coventry than Warwick and I don't like Coventry really so I don't want to go there.
Whoops, forgot to mention Edinburgh in my previous post. Apparently it has a really nice computing department.
Primarily on the merit of myself being there:would be my suggestion :p
Has a good staff, interesting course with alot of choices and a good few IT/computing based jobs you can get while studying (which give alot of flexibilty to place around your studies)
Kent itself is a nice area, but a little quiet compared to bigger citys, is more like a town tbh.
requirements are ABB so roughly where you were looking, lots of options etc within the course. Year in industry option is also very very good (im currently doing that right now)
So theres my sales pitch / suggestion
Abertay Uni (Scotland) is supposedly brilliant for anything to do with computing etc, as after all Dundee is the city of discovery and focuses on science and computing etc.
Yeh, I was going to ask you where you go to Uni because I recalled you were going. I was just waiting to speak to you on MSN. When you are free could I maybe ask you a little about the course?Primarily on the merit of myself being there:would be my suggestion :p

Thanks! Ill have a look at it on the UCAS website.
I think A-Level Maths is more for computer science? Though I might be wrong.
