I've noticed alot of supers drop alot in value, popularity and demand recently. Anyone else noticed this?

if recently been looking around and ive noticed people buying up all the supers/rares that used to be high in prices and while collecting keeping them all intill they rise and making sure habbox knows they want the price raised as well.
once they get alot of them and the price is high they sell and while trying to sell the sell for less than the habbox price because they still made a profit.
personaly i think habbox should change the prices according the the difficulty it is to find an object not trading because its not very hard to dupe habbox valuers and they get the blame for the prices all the time.
qauntity and rareness should be what there valued at.
The Grey Share Bear is the only one I've personally noticed. Meanwhile I've noticed Super BBs as well as White are impossible to find and when you do, people will not sell cheaply at all (I'd even say it was a mistake to lower the WBB from 30 to 29).
Yeh but del and pabble have been selling there collections.
I Like To Stroke Whales.
maybe no1 wants to take a chance with paypal deals and they're cashing out on the high prices now.
And trek sold some supers cheap which instantly crashed their prices
I've seen falls in:
-black pillows (and they'd only just gone up)
-tur pillows
-infobus posters
-blue monos
-typos
-grey sharebears
-strawberry icm
-blackcurrant icm
-chocolate icm
-blueberry icm
edit:
@Oblivions - that would be pointless. The reason for the rare value guides are to show people what people are currently paying for an item, and not what we think they should pay. And it's because of loads of people selling their supers at once and then not enough buyers, causing a drop in demand followed by drops in popularity and price.

i was actually very suprised that pink pillows actually sold in 400 hcs region due to the numbers. now that guy who had the room of icms and pink pillows has sold all they are not as rare anymore.
that guy must have had most of the strawberry icms before he sold and alot of blueberry so they definately go down because theres more now. it these collectors, when they sell up theres an influx of a super that there wasnt before. its not just strawberry and blueberry he had more than 1 complete set including bubblegum, chocolate and blackcurrant
now thats hes sold his more than a dozen pink pillows i wont be suprised if it goes back to its old price remember when it was only like 40 hcs also strawberry icm may follow
Your post wasn't there when I posted, but no.. rares should be valued by their value. 'Value' being the amount a Habbo is willing to pay for it. How is it going to work if you pick a value out of the air based on how hard something is to find? The RV staff already get accused of "fixing values to suit themselves". Surely if their job was to make guesstimates rather than simply dictating what they have seen on the hotel, this would only be a lot worse.if recently been looking around and ive noticed people buying up all the supers/rares that used to be high in prices and while collecting keeping them all intill they rise and making sure habbox knows they want the price raised as well.

How do you even measure how hard something is to find? I could search a random name on the navigator and walk into a room with a Purple Dragon. Whereas someone else could search a thousand names and never come across one.
Besides, if someone had all the Dinos for example, and the value was increased based on the fact "they are harder to find", it would hardly make any difference to the current system, as the person holding them all would be demanding a high value anyway.

One person bought all the pink pillows and still has them.
One person also bought all three sets of ICM's and most have been sold on apart from Bubblegum's, only one was sold and the other two are still with me so they are still very rare. Pink and Blueberry are now common with many people trading them. Choco and Blackcurrant can still be difficult to find so I would class as still being rare.
More users are able to own an ICM now than a month ago which I think is a good thing.
Supers are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them! If they don't get traded their value will not move.

its not about guesstimating and its not about dictating either its about average. any rare on this hotel is not sold at a fixed price the obvious reason is those values change almost daily.
how it is calculated or how it should be calculated is finding the highest at the lowest an item in being sold for the value is mid-way so lets take endor smoke which is 4.5 hcs. the highest price someone could sell for is 5 hcs and the lowest is 4 hcs that make the market price 4.5 hcs.
unless of course theres only 1 known super of that kind and colour being sold at all like for example trex's neptune smoke machine which whatever he pay is the value of that piece because hes got the only one known on the trade market, the rest are "nfs".
