I may not know more about the game than you, but I know more about business. Al-Fahim is a clever chap from his move with Portsmouth. He has brought together a bunch of investors who have paid for the club. This will save Al-Fahim a shed load of money, that he can the INVEST into the club. I'm looking forward to the transfer window in regards to Portsmouth.

Al-Fahim has spent over 100mil on players for City, and recent results show that the only decent purchase was Ade. (So far)

Al-Fahim will probably take either Executive Shareholder, or Lead Investor for Portsmouth, meaning he doesn't OWN the club, only having shares/investment powers.

    Clever, yaaa. :8

How can you say you know anything about business when Sheikh Mansour bin Al Nahyan is our owner? Al-Fahim holds no role at my club...

I didn't read it properly on Wiki. I didn't read the part where it says "However, before the take over was completed, wealthy backer Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan became a more prominent figure, and it became unclear whether Al-Fahim would join the board at Manchester City"

Just out of curiousity.. can a company who has brought one club, have another?

"Surprisingly" it seems that i have got it wrong.

His name was linked to both Portsmouth and City takeovers so i thought it was the same man. Oh dear.

Al-Fahim is nowhere near as rich as the people who took over Man City, he is actually a laughingstock in Dubai with his own X-factor type show, he's also been building houses which have been taking a long time to finish, I think it's because he has been messing around and not having enough money. So no, the owners of Man City have nothing to do with Portsmouth so why would it be their money going into that club?

The only connection Al-Fahim has with our club, was that he was advertising what our owners were going to do. He was merely an advertisement for City, and he was trying to excite the world about the takeover by over-exaggerating and being stupid (top four this season, premier league the next). Our owners probably had a go at him for saying that, as that is no-where near what our targets currently are (building a squad last season, competing for top six this season, top four next season) Our owners had told him that what he was done talking about our takeover, he would not be apart of our club/board. So why are you trying to link us with Portsmouth if he has no connection to our club anymore? I wish other supporters would stop trying to put us City fans down, as this is the best time of our lives, so let us enjoy it please?

United don't need midfielders, they need wingers or strikers
