Google: Unexplained Phenomenon

Sorry if there is already a thread on this, but I couldn't find it!

But yeah, on google today, the doodle is of a UFO 'absorbing' the letter 'O', and it's image url is "http://www.google.co.uk/logos/go_gle.gif", with the 'O' missing. Also, on Googles Twitter, they posted some encypted text, "1.12.12 25.15.21.18 15 1.18.5 2.5.12.15.14.7 20.15 21.19", and when it's decrypted, it says 'All your O are belong to us'.

How odd.

Maybe Google is being renamed to Gogle, or Google are taking over Opera, as the 'O' in the doodle today looks shockingly like Operas logo.

It could just be that the people who do the google doodle/website forgot to put the HTML code in to the page that makes the little yellow box appear beneath your cursor explaining what the image is about?!?

I was wondering where the bar at the top had gone.

I hate the google doodles anyway, i never pay any attention to them, this one was wierd though.

Maybe google just did it, so they could laugh at everyone running around trying to discover what was going on.
