Last year with the release of Fifa 2009 we made over 100 threads discussing the game and its' features. I'm guessing the release of Fifa 2010 will affect the forum in the same way so we might aswell start discussing it now before its release on October 2nd.
What do we already know when it comes to changes?
Well with the help of Wikipedia and several other resources such as the EA website we can gather that Fifa 10 is going to come across as a 'big change.'
There are several ways the developers can change the game and they have done. They have changed the manager mode into a more realistic managerial experience, they have added a new method of dribbling and they've even improved those goalkeepers who usually don't seem to know where they are.The tagline for the game is "How big can football get?".
The question is not however 'what is going to happen' but what would you like to see happen? I personally would love for the developers to focus on collisions with players simply because I would love to see Ferdinand throw little Arshavin around. So, what would you like to see in Fifa10?When on the attacks, players will analyse space more effectively, making curved runs to beat the offside trap, and offer more variety when moving forwards. Defensively, EA promises entirely new concepts such as position priority that allows defenders to multitask, such as filling in spaces left open by their teammates. Finally, EA also promises a myriad of improvements to the keepers, resulting in a more responsive and powerful rushing system.
