As I recall, you requested us to free the water ways through the dardanelles to allow Russia to be resupplied.Thats when Australian soldiers landed on Gallipoli. And, also, (true fact btw) while we were fighting for you two of your commanders landed us on the wrong beach allowing us to be slaughtered. We saved your ass because without us you would have in no way enough soldiers to continue with the war effort. I've got a text book here saying that Australia suffered the third most casualties in world war one after New Zealand and France (in ratio to our population) and we had the most soldiers in ratio fighting in the war. I also dont thinky ou would have requested our help unless needed, correct? And let me tell you one more time, you did not control us, as we can become a republic if we wanted to, we just didn't cause there was no point but you still do not control us and havent since 1901.

I'll point out what I said in a PM to someone, Australia didn't "Save our ass". We simply called in a favor which we duly deserved from you and you gave us that favor. Andrew Fisher thought that helping us out would be a good way to show how loyal they were to it's "mother country" which you liked to hold close ties to. Along with looking loyal you would gain respect from other countries like France, India, America etc making it easy to trade and build connections.

Ok, for your first paragraph let me correct you... WE ARE NOT UNDER YOUR CONTROL! If Australia was under the Uk control then you would stop us from becoming a republic if we wanted to but you wouldn't would you? No. You didn't try and prevent last time a referendum was passed on the subject therefore you do not control us. And seriously, if it was n't for Australia and New Zealand in the war you would have had a 50/50 chance of losing it from that point. If it was just a favour then why did we get slaughtered on the beaches of Gallipoli 20 000 miles away from home for you. One big effing favour.And if it was just a favour I dont think we would have to have forced people to join the army to fight and die for a country 22000miles away as a favour. We were struggling to suppourt you, do you think we would have been suppourting if you didn't need it, and even if we were then wh would we have to go to such lenghts as to force men to die for another country as a "favour" ohh and Nazi's in world war one? That shows how much you know. The National Socialist Party (aka Nazi's) weren't until the 1930's, way after the first war. Dont forget, Australia was bombed in World war two repeatedly, especially in Darwin by Nazi's and the Japanese.You also only mentioned the Russians and Yanks for helping you. How bout New Zealand, French Resistance, Australia, German Resistance, Italian Resistence, Malta, etc... Once again, shows how much you know. Did you know after world war two the Uk actaully offered malta to become apart of the uk because they were so impressed with how they fought. And saying that we took no part in the war is just dumb! As I remember (all I've said is fact btw...) that Japan controlled a lot of asia and almost the whole pacific up until Papau New Guinea (the closest country to Australia After New Zealand) before Anzacs fought all the way back to Japan (with Phillipino resistance help). Ever heard of Kokoda. I majored in War's through-out History so Im sure Im right.
