Reinstall/update graphics drivers. Clean fan on graphics card.

I'd try uninstalling then reinstalling your graphics card software and if that doesnt work your graphics card isnt good enough to run it.

GPU could be overheated. Clear anything infront of the vents. Clean the fans. Use it in a cool room wherever possible. If these steps and driver updates dont work, your GPU is on its way out.

    What GPU do you have?
    AMD Phenom X4 955 BE - 8GB RAM - Asus M5A97 - MSI HD6870 HAWK - Windows 8.1 Pro 64 - Samsung 840 Pro 256GB

Watching a youtube video shouldn't cause overheating.... It's probably a driver error.

The fact you only mentioned embedded video, suggests to me it might be worth re-installing flash player?

If it's in media player as well, then re-install/update graphics card drivers.

Not just videos, full screen pictures, erm anything that takes up the whole screen.

I will Re-Install the graphics software, its only started happening recently.
