    Default Rooney

Absolutely brilliant. Put in another top class performance yesterday (full 90 minutes) even though he played for england like 2 days before yesterday's game for the whole 90 minutes as well.

He's only 23.... and the way he's playing atm. When he reaches he's peak... :eusa_snoo unstoppable.

Best player in the league at the moment, no doubt about it(maybe the world, but I'm not informed enough to say that, as I don't really pay attention to the other leagues, whilst the premier league is running), with Adebayor and maybe Defoe (although, he won't last long) close behind, and then the usuals, Gerrard, Lampard, and many other players from the top 5.

Imagine Rooney at peak age, 26-30, look out defences. :8

Benayoun has been exceptional also this season. i dont see how rafa left him out of the first game but yea that goal rooney scored was a piece of individual brilliance

You'll have to just hope he hasn't reached his peak at a young age like some other greats in the past have done. Look at Fowler. He looked certain to become the best striker in the world with the capability he had at such a young age, unfortunatly for him, that seemed to be the peak of his career... around 23/24. I hope that doesn't happen to Rooney though as we need him to be even better in the next World Cup (2014) if we have any chance of winning that.

Rooney has improved so much, not only in his ability, but he's mananged to keep his temper to a minimum and just plays the game and is happy when he scores and doesn't rub it in peoples face etc I really like him.

When City played United a few years back. We sang 'Once a blue, always a blue' since he just left Everton. So he turned to us and put his fingers up at us.
