The BETA hasnt been confirmed to be private, yesterday that was the unveiling of the BETA. There was a lot of new information leaked.
Perk 1 Confirmed - Sleight of Hand, Scavenger
Perk 2 Confirmed - Stopping Power, Bling (Dual Wielded SMGs)
Perk 3 Confirmed - Melee Man (Extended Melee), Marathon (Basically Extreme Conditioning)
Secondary weapons can now also be rocket launchers, shotguns, pistols.
3 maps confirmed, forgotten the names though.
Killstreaks confirmed.
Deathstreaks confirmed (Get killed 4 times by the same enemy and you can spawn out the same perk setup)
Im impressed a bit but i feel the noobs will ruin this game with things like the FAMAS (M16 of MW2) and other nooby perks.
Sleight of Hand in Perk 1 is a bit iffy

Limited edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 announced. Coming in November, 250 GB HDD, 2 controllers and a copy of the game.
Iw talking about killstreak rewards for MW2. 4 kills gets you the care package, allows helicopter to drop ammo and health for you.
5 kills – predator missile, 7 kills – attack helicopter and more.
Tactical insertion equipment let’s you throw down a mark where you will respawn.
Perks including Scavenger (resupply from dead enemy), Hardline (killstreak for 1 less kill). And Death Streak – Copycat, steal class.
