I feel the same way but I liked that New Challenger changed the pace. The only thing I didn't like in New Challenger was that they changed Kumi's seiyu. Although I guess shes only in like one episode so it doesn't really matter. That's the problem with a 26 episode series, not enough time to focus on each character. By the way, don't forget Miyata and Date's fights. It wasn't just Ippo defending and Takamura vs Hawk. Ippo doesn't really get much focus in New Challenger now that I think about it.

One thing that bugged me in both seasons was that Ippo never used

Vorg's gloves! I was hoping he would use them to beat Sendo or something but they're never mentioned again after he receives them.

And yea i think it was just a memento or w.e so might have them displayed somewhere.

Might buy the hajime no ippo dvds. but only get the fight dvds. i dno. could get them all but theres somethign like 17. and that would take alot of shelf space.

Who grew up? Kumi? New Challenger is a direct sequel. She done that pretty fast... :eusa_wall

You've been saying you might buy the DVDs for like a week now. If I were you I'd buy them all or none. No point in just buying the ones with the matches.

i know but im undecided >.< 17 dvds thats almost half the lenght of my shelf.

and ive ordered a handful fo boxsets.. if there fma size then there just slightly thinner than the gurren lagann box. plus i have my N.G.E tin to put somewhere.

It annoys me when i see people saying "One Piece is a baby anime" Its alot better than Naruto anyway. If nothing interesting happens this week in the manga then im dropping naruto.. just dragging on and getting to crap. ill probably Buy the manga up until a certain point tho. already got 1-16.

People just put it off because its a long series.. should watch one of the movies before starting the series. i dno. i think there was another 3 people i know off who watched OP and 2 off them i think have dropped it. other was caught up.

ADV are selling off all their assets... I'm heartbroken! They used to be the largest anime company in the world, just how did this happen? I guess the anime industry really is in a bad state. They reported that their anime DVD sales had dropped by almost 50% in only a couple of years. Why must this happen to ADV of all companies!?
