Theres no point playing back to back series and losing non stop.

Looking at your posts, and considering how many people apart from a couple disagree with all your posts, I think you are the wrong one who knows little about cricket.

India were doing awful 2 years ago, they took time out, practiced and are in the top 3. Same with Pakistan.

Pakistan's wasn't really their choice though was it...

I agree with you, why should England be the only team to play all year round? Like I said in my post earlier in this thread, the series we play are too long and too frequent. Cut ONE out from the winter and spread it nicely.
If players are playing so poorly that they then want to gain confidence, they can play in SA / AUS between the end of summer and winter series, but, usually a break does a player good.
Just look at Andrew Strauss He's now in need of another one, notice even the best (Ricky Ponting) have breaks? And his one was during the beginning of a LONG schedule for Australia.
