Did you find it in a book like a GCSE Anthology one or something. I'll have a look round see if I've still got mine.

aha! Good news and bad news. Dug out the book. Can't find the poem. Sure it's called Letter from afar.

Are you sure you don't mean "Letter From a Far Country"? I'm unsure whether one of her poems has this name but I'm certain that she released a book with this name.
