I think it's because she is performing her latest song Fight for this love, and there is indeed alot of dance steps. You can't really sing excellently whilst doing all them active dance moves, it just won't sound good. So, yeah, she probably will mime. It doesn't make a different. Why critisise her, when alot of other artists do it frequently.

It's not THAT hard unless you're doing the can can or something. Beyonce, for example, does both. Usually if they dance rather than sing it's because they aren't a great singer in the first place.

My guess is she'll sing the verses then dance while miming the chorus.

I don't really mind if she mimes, half asleep, drunk, on drugs (*coughs amy winehouse on a good day*). She still won popstars the rivals so she must have some singing voice, I dont really care if she mimes now.

Nobody - neither on The X Factor nor her record label Polydor - wants to see her fail, which is why we thought it was better for Cheryl to mime her performance.

what's that supposed to mean? none of us are doing it because we know we can't and/or we're not hyped up celebrities who have made a fortune from supposedly singing.

imo you're either a singer or you're not. if you can't sing a song by yourself on stage without any technological rubbish, then don't.

this is part of the reason i listen to bands who make real music. if you go to a chilis gig or any band like that, they will be singing and playing instruments. no rubbish.
