Default Screen keeps going blurry - peeing me off now

Hi, well my screen keeps going blurry... text is a bit blurred, along with some images and things. It's really annoying... to fix it I have to open this application called "VideoPatterns" which contains an array of lines, the hit 'auto-adjust' on my screen and everything becomes sharp.

It's not the cable and it's not my drivers... it's the actual screen. As I said, fixing it makes it work perfectly... but the issue is it never stays like that for long. Every 10 mins (or each time I turn on the PC) it goes fuzzy/blurry again, so I have to redo the videopatterns... which gets tedious after an hour. -.-

Is there anything I can do to keep it sharp and crisp? Doing memory recall on the screen also fixes it... but not for long.

Oh darn, whilst I was writing this it went fuzzy again. :@ Not happy. Please help.

    Thanks.

So when you hit the "auto" button on the monitor it sorts it? Are you running at your monitor's native resolution?

Yup, it sorts it for a certain amount of time... then it messes up again after a while. For example, sometimes it only fixes it for 5 minutes, other time (like now) it's fine for an hour...

Yeah, it's at it's native resolution.

Sorry for being a noob, but I have no idea where the 'phase' part is. I can't see it listed in the options.
