    It's gimmick is the gore rather than scares.

    The story of SAW is good, but in IV and V they went off onto a tangent that just didn't work. Luckily the redeemed the series with the latest instalment.

    I actually havn't seen the film just yet. But I will, and by the sounds of it the film doesn't sound too bad

    I "SAW" it (ahahhahahahahahahahhaihaihdifahsdfoaihsdf I am funny) on Sunday. I actually thought it was good - certainly, like you say, improved on some of the poorer storylines that have marred some of the sequels. It is gruesome, but it's not just a pointless Hack n' Slash!

    Pazza, there's no point giving a basic storyline because there's not much to say without ruining it. There's twists and turns, etc as always, and if you have seen the previous five, then you should have the inclination to go and see the sixth to continue following the story.
