    Default Fancying Emo Guys?

    Lalalalalala :]
I fancy this guy, whose Emo. Doesn't bother me, I'm sort of anyway :]
But last time I mentioned him to my mum (like ''I know this Emo guy'') she said she doesn't want mt mixing with them. Which is why I'm worried about her reaction, I'd like him to at least know I like him but don't know how to tell him
Plus he confides me about this girl he likes, whose making him depressed because shes going out with someone plus shes my best friend. I really don't know what to do

    "I'm Emo. SLIPKNOT XO"

If that is your definition of 'emo', then I don't see a problem with it and your Mum is over reacting. Slipknot isn't bad at all, it's all gimmicks with the masks and music.

If you fancied some guy who actually cuts himself and is depressed all the time and listens to suicidal music or something, then yes, your mum is right to worry. But other than that, this guy is probably just following emo fashion or whatever. Your mum is stupid to judge him just from the word 'emo', it's prejudice.

Well if he actually is emo and not just following trends, then that does seem quite serious. What do you mean not fully cutting himself? Even self harming at all is a pretty serious psychological issue and he should probably go see someone if his problems are that bad?

Or maybe you can help him. I dunno the whole situation so it's kind of hard to pass judgement.

You're under 12 years old? If he is too, I think maybe it's just a phase he's going through, surely something couldn't be so bad to make someone who's hardly matured to cause themself harm?

    2. You shouldn't label yourself.
3.age is a huge thing... and anyone who says other wise is ignorant.
4.Your mum should be worried if he does all that stuff you said he does.

Bear in mind that "emo" isn't the teenage trend, it's actually completely different. Anyone with the silly hair who likes to cut themselves is quite simply, a buffoon.

Stay the hell away. Wait until you mature before you try for any relationships, i mean, you a guy who self harms and is always depressed is NOT good at all.

Well, if you want him to be dragging your mood down all the time because he's depressed, go for it, but tell him to get some help...
