From what I read it was the Demonware servers that went down, but it's to be expected when so many people are playing the game at once. Just got to have patience, as they always come back soon enough. Why it happened to Demonware's PS3 servers I don't know, but at present I believe the 360 is in third place in the console race, so naturally that means on average more players will be on PS3 for Modern Warfare 2 than XBOX.

I don't get how more people play PS3s than 360s when if you look at the forum, the PS3 section is dead compared to the 360 one! I guess the PS3 market is older though..

But that's only this place, hehe. Generally the age of PS3 users is older, yes. I believe I read that XBOX is now third in the market, but don't quote me.

However, your statements about the PS3 beating the 360 are wrong, if I remember last months sales figures, PS3 was still in third place, but catching up.
