    Default Fillings :o

I gotta have two, one next tuesday, and one week after.

ALl been filled before but it was two years ago, one has completely come out and the other is chipped so needs replacing!

I cant remember what happened, i'm not worried, but would prefer it not to be 20 mins of agonising pain.

Yeh well the last time i had them done, it didnt really hurt, it was just the odd sharp pain but it wasnt loads of it. The sound is the worst thing, you hear that and wonder what the hell is going on in my mouth. 20 minutes for my tooth to be normal again, well worth it.

Well the tooth i need doing, its nearly half of it thats missing, and i can stick things in it to clean it and i never feel any pain, he was playing with it before with his metal thing and i couldnt feel anything, so i'm guessing it wont be that bad. I mean i don't know how much of it will need taking away and how much i'll be able to keep, but he should be able to avoid the nerve.

This tooth i didnt have any numbing for last time, and that was quite painful, i'll take the injection this time

Fillings always make me nervous, but I close my eyes and stare out of the window, I've never had to have any injections for one though,
    Good luck,

I just had 3, and I have like a :rude:ing dozen more to go.
They just surface freeze your gums, then stick a footlong needle in you, which you won't feel, and then you're done. You won't feel anything after that.

I dont think this dentist uses any of that gel to numb the gum before injection lol. the injection is quick tho, easy.

The thing with the main cavity in my tooth is, is exposes the gum underneath, and starts to go under the rest of the tooth, he said he'll be able to fill it but im not sure if because the gum is exposed, something else may need doing.
