    lol @ social smoking.

erm it's nasty for you, but you'd have to be an idiot to not know that right? resisted myself to never have touched one so far, hope it continues like that too, i've got friends who crave them when drinking but thankfully i haven't gave in yet. i wind up my mates if i see them smoking cos it's not a nice habit, but i can't tell them not to do it. fully agree with the smoking ban in public places though, you should not have to put up with second hand smoke.

I smoke because I want to. I smoke away from away from my mates that don't smoke, I move right away from children and other non-smokers when I'm smoking outside. I've been smoking for a few years and people have rarely ever smelt smoke on me (I smoke rollups with filters, apparently rollups are supposed to be like the smelliest tobacco products?).

It's pretty funny when people criticise (sp?) us for smoking; it's our choice so you're pretty much wasting your time trying to harrass us about it.

I wonder why people crave smoking more when drinking, i know i do but im not sure why. I know if im smoking weed or something and i have a cig after i feel the affects more and they hit me faster and more intense (atleast how i feel). But when im drunk they just taste nicer i guess im not sure?

If anyone elses knows why they do ?

Smoking tobacco after weed always makes the effect better for me personally :eusa_whis
Also I tend to crave a rollup more when I drink beer or whiskey. Anything else (like vodka) just makes me forget about smoking completely.

Even though I don't smoke, I'm not one of those people who looks down their nose at smokers. If one of my mates suddenly lights up and I'e never seen them smoke before I'll probably make a joke out of it and go 'eeeew' but it's just for a laugh.

Funniest thing though was when they changed the legal age from 16 to 18, I was 17 at the time so it hit people my age right in the face. Anyway a lad from my year was having a big argument in the shop keeper across from college because suddenly they couldn't sell to him even though he was in there buying cigs every day!

Why do we smoke? Quite simple, because its our own choice.

I started smoking due to peer pressure, but after I started smoking regular, I started to enjoy it, and I still do. I do not really worry about the health risks because I'm going to die sometime anyway. Why not enjoy the benefits of life, rather then being a slave to the system.

I am seventeen, and trust me, I do not take any notice of anybody on this forum, or if to say someone complained about it in the real world, about myself smoking.

Their my cigarettes, its my choice, I smoke. You don't have to exactly smoke with me.

All I hear on here is health risk that, health risk this. To be honest, if you don't wanna read, or reply to a thread about smoking with a mature, open minded look on the subject, then please don't.

Anyway, just gonna roll myself a roll-up, mm.

I choose to smoke as at the moment my life pretty stressful and *** break really does help. Im pretty respectble when it comes to smoking too, i make sure im outside when i do it, like for example my girlfriends family don't smoke but they have said many times i can smoke inside their house but i still go outside. When passing people on the street and don't blow smoke into there faces so why are you so bothered about it.
Its like me saying "why do you drink alcohol". Becuase you like the effects and you feel good, yeah? Well i smoke to chill out.
I don't smoke to fit in or look cool either, if smoking looks cool does that mean my middle aged mum is cool?

That's the only thing I find annoying, it's like splashing people with puddles when you're driving! Nice to hear you're considerate .

Smoking does nothing for anyone except satisfy cravings addition to it causes, so it seems kinda pointless. I can see why people may do most drugs, they have effects, smoking on the other hand has none, you'd get an equal buzz from chewing a carpet o.0
