Default Am I to blame for this? (Racism)

Firstly I want to make sure this thread stays clean from any racism. I think I get the perm ban for anything I do wrong now and I have been given a final warning about a racist attitude. I don't want this thread to end up being closed for this post containing racism so I will keep it as clean as possible and I apologise if anything still manages to offend you.

Right, I get called racist on here a lot, I have many, many, many infractions and warnings for posting racist things too. I just want to know if you think it is my fault.

I live in Manchester, there are many parts of Manchester that Indians/Pakistanis have what you could call taken over. They like to all live next to each over and this can stretch to taking over massive areas. In a nice, non offensive way you could say that driving through these areas feels a bit like driving through a different country, India or Pakistan for example. For many patriotic English people this can be quite heart breaking, seeing your country being slowly taken over, bit by bit. Some people may not have a problem with this but my journey to school involves getting on the bus up and down the main road. For several years I have been getting the same bus down the same road and there has always been a muslim school in between my house and school so obviously a lot of them get on/off the bus there. So morning and afternoon on my way to and from school has always involved getting on a bus that is often full of Indians/Pakistanis and this could be the case of were a few spoil it for them all. These troublesome, manor-less, cheeky school children have convinced me that all the people of their race are like them to put it bluntly. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, I just don't know. I get the bus alone and have been involved in 2 fights on the bus after them starting on me for no reason whatsoever while I have been sat there minding my own business. Then my parents, they are also a reason that I may appear to be so racist. They have had many bad moments with Indians/Pakistanis in their time and have told me that it's up to me to decide whether or not I like them but have also told me many stories and statistics about them. Then I have had other problems with them. There are 3 Pakistanis in my year, one of them sits next to me in ICT and has shown me pictures of his friends on facebook holding massive, real guns. The way he talks (as do a lot of them) "yeh gee innit man" kind of thing gets on my nerves too (again I don't intend to offend anyone). He once said that all the greatest boxers and singers are muslim which was out of the blue because at the time I think we were talking about football... It was also as if he was trying to say that muslims are better than us etc. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that just like saying "all the best ____ are catholics"? You just wouldn't say something like that, especially in a place full of people who are not the same religion. I have had many encounters with Indians and Pakistanis and they have always been bad, it has turned me into someone that dislikes Indians and Pakistanis which is not fair. I know some very nice ones and even they agree that a few spoil it for the rest. This has all lead me to automatically dislike any of them which is indeed stupid and unfair towards them.

I apologize again if any of this may sound offensive but I have done my best to write this in a way that isn't offensive.

So is this really my fault? There are many other people like me and It annoys me when people say that they hate me because I am racist when I personally don't think it's my fault. Also, is racist really the right word? Racist means to call someone because of the colour of their skin and I am talking about their Nationality. I have never called an Indian/Pakistani because of their skin and wouldn't see the point in doing so, it's just skin.

Not at all, if people wind you up then you aren't to blame for it, the person causing the irritation is to blame. It's only racist if you assume everyone of a particular race or belief are the same and therefore deserve the same treatment. Like you said, you know a few people who are muslim and are nice, and they too are annoyed with these other people. It's not really a take over bid, it's just that they've got comfortable and are promoting their lifestyle over others, it happens in most places.

It's not your fault, you're not being racist. This country is far too PC.

Discriminating on the basis of nationality and race are equally as bad.

What you posted was incredibly offensive, using words like 'infested' and 'breed' means you liken these people to animals. I personally think that your 'bad' experiences with people of this race has clouded your vision of the great number of people who are from pakistani or indian origin, who are good people. I don't think it's forgivable or understandable that you've used these words.

So you are saying you have never met any nice Indian/Pakistani?
I live in Manchester too, and I think you are just making thigs look worse than what they really are.
The only place which is full of Pakistanis (btw, Manchester doesnt have many Indians at all, its Birmingam) is Rusholme (and maybe Longsight). Rusholme isn't even that big. You go to Salford, its all white. Didsbury, mainly whites. Withington, mainly whites. Cheadle, mainly whitres. Stockport, mainly whites.

I went to Moss Side last week, and I actually counted how many white people and black people I saw. I saw 7 blacks/asians and 7 whites. Also, I go to university and my bus (111) goes past Moss Side everyday, and I see just as many white people as black/asians everyday.

I live in Withington. I have had white people calling me a **** (funny because I am an Indian .. ignorant idiots) and shouting racist stuff at me and a friend of mine who is black. I was cycling home from college last year and a white man spat at me, actually spat on my face. Did I do anything? No. I was cycling on the road and stopped at a red light and he spat on my face and shouted racist abuse at me. I obviously told him where to go You don't realise how insulting it is to be spat on.
I was on the bus this afternoon and 2 white woman got on at Moss Side, both chav looking and they were both on the phone. They were swearing non stop on the phone and talking so loud its unbelieveable. I see many white kids get on the bus everyday and they act like animals.

At school when I was in year 8, a year 11 white girl used to shout racist abuse at me (and then got kicked out of school). Another boy at school shouted racial abuse at me etc ... but then I ended up beating the crap out of him and he never dared look at me again.

But you dont see me hating every white person? I judge people individually. Believe me when I say this, I have probably had more racial attacks on me than you have had but I still don't hate white people. I like them and judge every people individually, and not think ALL WHITE PEOPLE MUST BE IDIOTS BECAUSE I SAW A FEW IDIOTS.

You used the terms "infested" and "breed" when referring to Indians, Pakistanis, Blacks etc. I find that racist, so overall, yes I do think you are racist. Why? Because you see a few idiot asians, and you automatically think we are all the same. Yes there are many idiot asians here, do you think other asians like it? No. I hate them too, but there are white people who are idiots too. Everyone is different, and its not affected by your skin colour.

I dont think people realise how difficult it is sometimes to be brown in UK (even in a highly multi-cultural society like Manchester).

About you getting racial abuse, your a Pakistani living in Manchester. It is bound to happen, pretty much everyone I know doesn't like them for the same reasons as me. No wonder they like to live together, they are probably all sick of getting abuse. But when it comes to idiots spoiling it for the others you are right. There are loads of white scroat bags, vice versa with Indians/Pakistanis but the white ones will always be able to say that it's their country whether they are right or not. Thinking about it, there are quite a few of Indians/Pakistanis that I like, it all depends on their attitude. Like when they say "man" a lot, refuse to speak our language, wear scary headgear or act suspicious on a bus/train which can lead you into thinking about terrorists. There are many problems, we are bound to have problems when mixing two extremely different types of people together but we will all just have to manage (unless the BNP come into power of course).

Again, sorry if anything may sound offensive. It is the truth and I try to keep it as clean as possible. Please just PM me moderators if you would like me to stop talking about racism, an infraction wouldn't achieve anything more.

Thanks, I have edited that and removed it. I really am trying here. I do not want to get into any more trouble but want to speak my mind.

I am actually an Indian. Again, a wrong attitude of racist(ish) white people in Manchester and in the UK in general. They see a brown person and automatically presume we are Pakistanis.
And many white people here say man too? Many at my college did anyway. Actually, I don't know many white people who hate Asians/Blacks etc. My street has majority white people and they are so damn nice. Same at our other house, every white person is nice. Can I ask which area you live in?
