To be brutally honest, I think it's impossible to hate Vista if you love Windows 7. Windows 7 is better yes, however it's not that different. People who say that either have had a bad experience themselves or listen to the media too much.

I'm yet to use Windows 7 as my main OS, just tried it on a friends computer for now, but here's a truth bomb, I don't really listen to people when it comes to technology if they think WINDOWS 7 IS GREAT and WINDOWS VISTA IS CRAP.

Either Vista or 7 IMHO, used vista for 2 years without a problem, now updated to 7.
He said it all to be honest. Either get Windows 7 or Windows Vista, both operating systems work and I've had no problems with Vista really either. So far I've had no problems with 7 as well.

Windows 7 (newest product of a series (OS) is probably the best if they had time to improve it and stuff)....
    Need any help? PM me!

I will be short and to the point:

    I disagree!

David, you are a Macintosh man through and through, I don’t think anything would convert you, not even if Bill Gates delivered you one personally.

Why get vista over 7? Even if you believe Vista performs fine, there's no need to get an older and more expensive version!

The owner might be fussy though. Of course I would fully recommend Windows 7 to anyone, its the best Windows yet.

Like others have said. XP is stable, but lacks the compatibility and "workability" to Windows 7, which is equally if not more stable than previous Windows operating systems anyway.
