How do I know they're defrosted?

When all the ice is off? and theyre soft? Do you defrost in the microwave?

Leave them in the fridge for the amount of time it says on the packaging +1hour.

We put them in warm water to let them go soft before cooking. The prawns are usually quite hard on the shell wize.

bite one, if its hard and icy its still frozen
alternatively poke them to see if they're soft
