Phone has mentioned them in "that thread I posted in September" and we all agreed then that we need a more active presence on Habbo! Personally, I think they shouldn't be too frequent or they just become boring. Keep the 'big' things a novelty or it may end up going the same way as the Productions Department!

PS. I really enjoyed acting today, regardless of the annoying lag!

The big events r great and we have had alot of interest from new users. I was the dj covering the cube and while i was hosting i had people sending through the request line how much they enjoyed playing. Takeshi's castle was also the same.

The panto not only got alot of interest but it was something different. as oli said it was hard getting us all online at one time however it would have been nice for others to see the show instead of been left disappointed.

The forum should deffinately do more things similar to this.

Anything that getsnew people signing up is a good thing. Afterall, the more people who sign up, the more people who will stay active, the more long term users habbox will get, and the more regular uses as well.

It gives Habbox a name too.

I think the most impostant thing to remember is the more people we get visiting any Habbox site means more members more suport, and a bigger fansite (regardless of the fact if they are active on the forum or not)

I think the pros outweigh any possible cons. Everything seemed to be running smoothly during the panto and I don't think it would have a negative affect on anything else. It can only really do good .

What Garion said. Considering how much we (as a forum community) moaned about havin no presence on habbo, having a popular event really can't be criticised on any level Lets have more of them!

give it to garion, heard he is a habbo addict ;l
No, I'd rather see Habbo closed down and the idiot who went anti-fansite have a few bolts put through his thick skulled frontal lobe and kicked by fansite owners.

I think big events are great and they're definitely something I'll be looking at doing more often.

It was great to see so many people interested in the pantomime, although I don't think it's something which should happen every month or so - having it yearly would work much better.

Other events such as The Cube work just as well and take less preparation than what it takes to put on a pantomime. I know for a fact at least 4 people signed up to the forum last night after playing and other smaller things like that will help to get Habbox's name out there and hopefully bring in some new members.

If you don't have a clue what I'm on about when I say The Cube, it's basically a series of events in one room which we were trialling during the Christmas Bonanza
