Default Two Questions about my PC and Internet

One, what is wrong with my internet? It seems like I get lag spikes, where my internet would just not work for a minute or two, then works again. For instance in Habbo, I would randomly just freeze/lag, switch tabs and go to a new page and found out theres no internet. Then AFTER Habbo signs me out from the "temporary disconnection" my Internet works again. My router is in my aunties room and it's about 20-25 Feet away from me and I'm just using a USB device that can get the WIFI from there. What's wrong and is there any solutions?

Two, My internet randomly restarts on its own. Like at first it gave me the Blue Screen of Death, then after that it just freezes, then recently, it just restarts my computer. Every time I restart I get the "Your system just recovered from a system error", is there any solution to this?

My computer is a Windows XP Media Center Edition, If that helps.

Download WinDBG and open the BSOD's minidump, post the bottom 10 lines or so here.

I found the media edition to be the best version of xp :S I never had any problems with it.

Tried doing a virus scan? Or an adware/spyware scan?

Sounds like more of a problem with your PC if its giving blue screens of death.

USB dongle thing is probably overheating, that's what mine used to do. Invest in a wire.
