IMO, the best band is to be put into your own opinion, everyone has a right.

My best band, would have to be Slipknot. Amazing live, adrenaline-filled songs.

Although my music variety is a lot more varied that just stereotypical heavy metal/rock.

depends on what variable makes them the best. i think you could arguably say its the velvet underground thats the best, cause they've had almost just as big of an impact on modern music as the beatles but sold a tiny fraction of the amount of albums.
