And bleh just the trek of 45 mins on a train to walk around o find the place.. nice if they have some sort of poster there D:
At the Expo there are a ton of Narutards and other people who think anime is the best thing in the world when they've only seen a couple of series, but there are so many decent people to talk to as well. I'm sure it'll be the same at the Eva screening.

Even went I went to the all nighter (the screen I was in sat around 250 people) some guy was sitting next to me who loved Guyver! I've never met another Guyver fan, or even another person who knows about Guyver. It's a small world after all. :8

Speaking of OP 5 volumes come out today shame i dont get payed till friday.

and ive found someone to go see evangelion with
Biggest understatement of the year so far! One Piece fans are taking over the world! No one likes Bleach anymore, and even Naruto is dying down. There were more Luffy cosplayers than Naruto cosplayers last time I went to the expo, which is incredibly surprising because there first time I went I must have seen 50+ Naruto's.

Also, my friend (who is a huge One Piece fan) was telling me today how he was in an internet cafe last weekend and some guy come and sat at the computer next to him, opened up onemanga.com and started reading the latest chapter of One Piece. This is a true story, no lie! The fans are all around us.

pity none of them come on here then eh lol. and even more reason to carry on with my site. The only diffrence with OP compared to naruto and bleach is its actually good and Oda is a genius. You should really read it D: hes great at forshadowing and he has a master plan. dosent just make stuff up.

There are only around six or seven active members in this section, you can't expect them to be One Piece fans.

Also, I gotta disagree with that statement. Sure Bleach has long since lost its way, but the first one hundred and fifty so episodes (excluding the fillers of course) were well worth watching. The Soul Society arc was fantastic and I'd still rate episode 121 as one of my favourite anime episodes of all time, and also Grimmjow vs Ichigo (1st time) as one of my favourite fights.

It's a fairly long series so it'll probably be more of a long term dedication and I also have other series I want to complete and get up to date with first; Vagabond being my highest priority since Takehiko Inoue said it's going to end this year after 12 years of publication! I definitely want to get around to One Piece though. I was also looking at akira Toriyama's Dr. Slump earlier and that looked pretty funny.

Also, in a completely unrelated topic - Avatar Book 3 is finally coming out over here ( on the 1st of February) after two damn years of waiting. They've really ****** us over though. The region 2 DVDs have no extras what so ever and don't even have the simple stuff such as subtitles. Paramount and Nickelodeon have really ****** us over. The region 2 Book 3 boxset is 125 minutes shorter than the region 1 boxset because all of the extras have been removed. Why would you do that? Why wouldn't you include the extras? Why? Theres no point in removing them. None what-so-ever. I hate you Nickelodeon!

    Thumbs up

don't consider for to long lol. Tons of stuff to watch.
430 eps think it is, 4 tv specials, 5 mugiwara theatre shorts, 9 movies, 2 ovas, 2 movie shorts, 2 crossovers with dragonball, Jango dance thing.

Everyone gets into it diffrently most people tend to get into it at arlong bit which is late 30s, tho you have few short arcs before which you may get into, arabasta and sky pia are good but the truley awesomeness dosent start tilll past ep 200, also dnt let animation put off at the start.. It was made in 1998 lol. Gets better later on

Me and my friends are thinking of going to the London Expo this year. If there is one or where ever it is at.
Waiting for my EMA Christmas Bonus to come in so I can purchase my first anime box set, thinking of TTGL, Bebop or Welcome To The NHK. Does anyone know what ones are released in whatever region we're in and how much, and where?
Im a noob with DVDS. I want a snow day today so I can stay off catch up on coursework and anime. I get too distracted by Call of Duty and Final Fantasy when I try to watch an anime. Gaming is my downfall.
    No longer active on here

I'd rather not import them. It costs more and if there are region 2 DVDs I would rather have them. I'm just saying how its totally pointless to give us the short stick.

But what would be the point in reading a few chapters? Take a look at my manga list on MyAnimeList, its rather full at the moment and I'd rather not start more series just yet. Believe me though, One Piece is among the next mangas I will start, along with Berserk and Gantz.

Gurren Lagann costs a bomb, though you do get some good extras with it and Welcome to the NHK isn't out in the UK. The Bebop boxset is a good choice though.

I'm currently snowed in again. Snow is always ruining my day! I wanted to see Daybreakers today and Avatar again tomorrow but I guess that ain't gonna happen.

Also, there are also tons of games making their UK and sometimes world debut at the Expo. You'd probably get distracted by them n'all haha.

Dvds normaly are better quality in the US. cases are alot fancier aswell. And yea it is but we get it from everywhere so bleh.

Because its long enough as it is well suppose by june 54 volumes will be out in english so if you d ecide you like it can always buy them.

GL will set you back a bit luckily i have it all now, Beez recently released a new Bebop boxset which is about 30ish. and NHK is US only. The one i got contains all the episodes but thats about £35 and you might get hit with a fee which is another £12
