Like I said, you ignore everything else and only say what favours you.Exactly, people seem to think theres something between themselves and the person who they disagree with, when in reality they are creating a bad relationship out of nothing and for nothing.
That is a debate, common sense is a common phrase used in debate and always will be, infact it was used by a senior politician back in 2001 (William Hague) whos campaign slogan was '£ Common sense' if I remember correctly. Theres nothing remotely offensive about it.
Saying that someone lacks common sense in everything is basically calling them an idiot and a moron, hence its rude.
