When India lost the toss, they had pretty much lost the match, that was for sure. If anyone has been following this series and watching the matches, they would know why, but for those who havent: dew. The ball gets so wet that you cant grip it. The Bangladesh captain (hosts) even said the matches should not be played.

Anyway, thats still no excuse. India were on 60/5 and that is extremely poor. Luckily Raina's 100 gave a decent score of 245.

India then went on to take the wicket of Tharanga on the 3rd ball of the match. Unfortunately Nehra got injured and had to leave the field.

Sri Lanka are on 93/1 at the moment and should easily win the match. They have played well.

    Edit: Make it 93/2.

    Edit: Make it 109/3

Sri Lanka won by 4 wickets with 9 balls remaining. Bloody annoying. If only India batted the whole 50 overs, they could have won.

India didnt do too badly though considering they were 60/5 and considering they lost Nehra, a key bowler.

Well Done to Sri Lanka on winning the IDEA Cup 2010.

that's what annoys me about you saurav. you claim to be a proud indian and everything but then start making excuses about losing long before you actually did. if you were patriotic you would stick by your country 'til the end.

    wooooooooooo sri lanka won.

I did stick by them Hence I watched the whole match. And I did say dew should be no excuse as the batting was poor. Do you not read my posts :S

Like I said, you have obviously not watched the series hence you don't know anything about the dew.

Good Sri Lanka won as they bowled well.

anyway, I don't watch much cricket so I suppose my opinion is rather worthless. But, it sounds like Sri Lanka played well and they beat the top side in test cricket and 2nd in T20. So fair play to them.
