Defiantly a tablet. ive been told it will be based around the iphone OS , and will not cost more then £700 ( what seems a very good price ) and will have a front screen camera.

If it's around £500, I might save up and treat myself eventually.

I didn't see this thread until today.
Was it the Tablet after all?
According to a lot of sources yes but the event hasn't started yet. It starts at 6PM. see: http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/27/l...reation-event/
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
anywhere where i can watch it live?
Read some rumours it'll be around $800 in the US on contract with Verizon, I assume that's overall and it would include airtime/internet access. Or $1000 directly from Apple themselves?
Add on the UKs "Apple Tax" and we're looking at £550-800.
They probably wont go inside but TWiT is going to take a portable streaming rig, you can view their stream starting at 17:00 at: http://live.twit.tv
EDIT: THEY'VE STARTED!!!!!!!!

Edit2: If you can't see the conference centre, don't worry. They're going back and forth between their studio and the event.

Dr Kiki did? She's not a very techie person tbh, she's a host which they hired to give Leo some time off when he needed it.
Also they're talking with people outside the event
Edit: Oh, that might of been when they were making joke guesses such as it will have an inbuilt hotplate to keep coffee warm or w/e.
