Do you know what it strikes me as, one of those inventions that people will look back on in twenty years and just cringe. Like when we think back to the original "mobile" phones, the huge suitcase ones.

itll be nothing like that at all, this is likely to revolutionize the way that we use the internet and word process etc.

I wouldn't exactly give Apple sole credit for changing the personal computer industry with their iPad, but in ten years from now I guarantee a lot of us are going to be carrying around devices like the ipad with higher hardware specifications and which run a similar platform. They're just convenient for quick use, on the job, at school, for fun wherever you are. Some guy in an interview said the objective is to make the thing a computer but without the traditional computer feel (think he meant the hassle of booting, configuration panels, crappy application management, tedious lame tasks).
The real fun's going to start when these guys get good hardware, and also begin being able to connect to your peripherals wirelessly (imagine being on a bus using your tablet then arriving home, sitting it on your desk and continuing to use it but now through your 2 external monitors without having to plug anything in).

Nope, no Habbo at the moment because Apple's being stupid about Flash.

What i dont understand about apple
is that they take forever to add the simpleset things to something
    take the iPhone for example
it took them 3 generations to put freakin voice recording on it
they should seriously put flash and shockwave etc... on the iPad
that would make it even more successful

Yup. Look how long it took them to introduce quad core chipsets to the iMac. I still buy their stuff but I swear sometimes I want to pull a
