You get packs of cards which feature players who are rated Bronze/Silver/Gold along with their normal FIFA 0-99 rating. You buy the add-on and recieve enough bronze cards to play a match and you play games to earn coins to buy new packs (which are also in B/S/G ratings), and so new players, but as its EA, you can just skip the crap and buy gold packs with MS points/PSN credit.
And to answer the question, yes, I will be buying it.

Nah, its more like manager mode for 5 year olds that only understand trading cards, but I enjoy it.

Not even worth 400 points IMO. Get rid of the microtransactions and contract expirations and I'd get into it again.

Contract expirations are pretty much gone. Once a player runs out of contracts they don't vanish this year, you keep the player he's ineligible until you give him a new contract.
