    I've never agree'd with other depts having they're own desk when HxHD is there which is meant to be the help desk not a bunch of different help desks for one website.
    It won't be a desk, it'll be a Quiz room - something which is very hard to hold whilst in Habbox Help Desk because;

    a) a number of people in the room aren't interested in Rare Values.
    b) a number of people as they are not interested make sarcastic comments.
    c) HabboxLive often uses the room from what I personally see.
    d) People talking about other stuff than rare values, afterall they came to chat and not to talk about rare values.

    That is why we'd rather keep the former desk, now Quiz room seperate. As for a nasty layout, now thats a pretty cheap shot and excuse to use that I certainly wouldn't use against Habbox Help Desk. Other departments, other departments could use rooms if they wished and I wouldn't have an issue with that - a department should do what it believes is best for itself and the service it provides.

    a) If advertised properly the people interested in participating in a Q/A with RV staff and interested in taking part in the quiz will be there, same as last time when netaxes done it, various members asked questions about rare values and took part in the quiz

    b) people making sarcastic comments doesn't stop you from holding a quiz or answer questions lol

    c) Habboxlive is rarely in the room, only time i see habboxlive in there is early morning or VERY last night (11pm+) and i'm doubting you'll be in the room at either time

    d) Again if advertised properly the majority of people will be there for the rare values, also in an RV room when like 8 of your staff invite people they will end up chatting and not all about rare values so it's the same result both places with regard to that.

    It's hardly a cheap shot, the layout looks very rushed and just randomly dumped down seems more messy than anything

    So you'd agree that 8 departments having 8 different help desks for they're own use? that would be one of the stupidest things i've ever heard of :S If theres a department based entirely on helping and has a official room dedicated to it i don't see why other departments can't use it, having a room like your suggestion for what 1 hour a week aswell seems pointless

    It'll also be more of a desk as you won't be in there for 15 minutes doing a quiz, closing room then leaving it you'll be answering questions etc aswell, when netaxes was manager this worked fine for about 2 weeks (until he stopped coming) so i don't see why anything has changed or why it'll be a bad idea now?

    Also if people come into the rare values "quiz"/"desk" then what happens if after the hour they need more help? If however it takes part in HxHD then the people can come back and the hxhd staff can assist or atleast try to get hold of a rv staff member and get a reply to the question rather than a closed room.

    It depends, but its very hard to get people nowadays to a room and especially a Help Desk room, as shown by all Help Desks which are now struggling and have been for sometime. If we now have a proper co-ordinated Quiz time/discussion time with prizes, maybe Bingo etc held in the room which will be on the trading charts then I think it can be a success and we're going to give it a shot.

    I don't see the need to merge everything into HxHD, unless HxHD is struggling itself again?

    I'm not saying its necessary to merge everything with HxHD i'm just saying if you're having a room designated for 1 hour a week to answering questions i don't see why not HxHD, common sense tells you thats the best way to go about it, but if you're doing events like bingo (which i have no idea why you would be as surely theres an events department for things like that) then its fine having own room

    But for just answering questions and hosting a quiz i don't see why not use HxHD, as if i go to rv room then after 1 hour i need more help, i'm screwed and would have no idea about HxHD, however if this took part in HxHD and after the hour everyone was gone i could still go into hxhd, ask one of hxhd staff a question get an answer instead of staring at a locked room achieving absolutely nothing.

    I've just said how HxHD is not a suitable place in my eyes and from my past experience in that room, it isnt a suitable place. On bingo, yeah we could hold things like that instead of a normal quiz type thing every single week. On the locked room, the room would be for quizes and a weekly discussion, Habbox Help Desk is perfectly established so i'm sure nobody would be trying to get into a locked room. Making a molehill out of a mountain here lets be honest, we're going to give the Weekly Quiz idea a go and see how it works out.

    And i've replied to every point stating why its not valid

    At the locked room i'm referring to you saying its a quiz room / event room not a desk so surely it'd only be opened when doing the quiz/event so after it it'll be closed so if someones needing help on a question they wouldn't be able to access the room, however if it was in HxHD then hxhd is always open so they could get help at any time instead of looking at the locked room (your quiz room)

    And surely your department shouldn't be doing bingo anyways, as your dept is RARE VALUES, not events or help desk.

    Questions/help = HxHD
    Bingo/FF/CC etc = Events

    Yeh fine a quiz as you're quiz will be based on furni/their values, not general knowledge etc

    Had 15 people in

    I Think it can work if Rvr's put some effort in ( minkiest and -:undertaker:- ) lol only joking you 2, i mean the whole department

    Yeh i said that, only time theres been people in there in the last 2 months was on january the 3rd when it was the events day and there was a quiz in there (managed to get a whole 5 people in there!) and last week when the panel was messed up it was active for like 2 hours max then it was dead again

    And I replied to why HxHD is unsuitable, the fact is it doesnt attract the people we need and is far too busy with others chatting about other things along with people asking for help and people just sitting there watching, thus clogging the room up.

    No I agree actually, its upto me and Elle to make it work and so far we've failed. We'll discuss it over in light of what you've just told us.

    Wouldn't it maybe be more of a sensible idea, if we're doing anything with the RV Desk other than closing it, to maybe focus on a trade aspect heavily?
