So use crappy slayer gear
I use slayer helm , torso , d legs, barrows gloves, rune defender , whip, fury, d boots, ferious ring, and fire / skill cape

thats all pretty cheap so you should be able to do most tasks wearing that while you make money and wait for better gear to drop

DFS - 12.4m more
Bandos tassets -8m more
Bandos chest - 6.6m more
Zerker ring - 1m more
Ahrims set - 2.3m more
Veracs - 2.3m more
Dharoks - 3.2m more
Torags - 1.2m more

then other barrows sets and stuff so yeh.

In all honesty i can't be bothered camping for 12 whips just to get the money back lol.
