I have one of those. You need to brush them lots or the house becomes a fur pit. They are huge and bigger than some dogs but great pets though. =]

Beautiful, is he/she too heavy to pick-up and snuggle?

    I also like these:

    They look sassy.

No he is quite heavy but is very cute - a huge ball of fur basically! Yes those are pretty cute too and they have lovely blue eyes.

I guess heavy isn't so bad, I just want a warm, fluffy, nice cat. I also want a boy because they are nicer than girl cats, it will also be an indoor cat.

If you want a real friendly cat that always sits on your lap etc a Maine can be a bit aloof. Mine in not really a snuggly cat. If you want an indoor cat you would have to ensure that he/she has 'hairball' supplements as they have quite a problem because they are so furry. My cat is a bit of a hunter and goes outside and eats grass to keep them under control. They do also vomit the hairballs up quite regularly so you may like to ask if they would be suitable for being an 'indoor cat' as they could get really bored.
