Obs4: 2 4+2=6
Obs5: 4 5+4=1 [because when you get to 8 it restarts back at 1]

Obs7: 3 7+3=2
Obs8: 5 8+5=5

if you read carefully, it says:

The code should be entered as numeric characters without spaces. For example, the room order at the moment is 12345678 (room 1, room 2, room 3, etc). You need to provide me with the correct room order. The first number is 1.

The answer to the room number + number on dice = 1.

It can be the only way that works. If you start with room one there is no sequence that works.

Yeah but it also says this isn't easy so don't rush it. And if you start with 1 (being room one) you can't find another link with it that works all the way through.
