Hip Piercings

Apparently surface piercings have like a REALLY high rejection rate. Does anyone have hip piercings, did they get rejected? My friend and I are getting in the summer. They look hot.

I don't know anyone who's had it done, but sometimes the piercing just pushes itself out because it's being moved about or rubbed. My sister had one in her neck, and it just kept pushing itself out.
Some parts of the body just aren't meant to be pierced...
But if you're really serious about it, and you have the money, go for it!
Only if it does start to reject, you should just take it out, because it could cause infections.

but they look a bit odd if youve not got your belly button pierced aswell.

I got an industrial done last summer, it looked pretty cool but it got rejected.

THey do look hot on girls, altho i dont see many of them around.

Some shops might say you have to be 18.

My brother got his done, and they lasted about 6 months, and then he's had to take them out.

I think it would be okay with your paren't consent otherwise it is 18. Some places do not do it at 16 even with consent. You would have to check it out at the shop.

you should maybe see about microdermals instead? they have less rejection rate, you'd need a professional to take it out though. my friend got hers done when she was 15 but age probably varies. im thinking of getting 2 micro's on my back, good luck with what you try anyway
