Here is the design so far how could i improve it?
Top box = Nav
Below Nav = Pictures Slideshow
Below Picture Slideshow on left = News Bulletin

Better colour scheme. Maybe look at theirs? To be honest I'd consider starting again...

Could anyone make this image transparent so it can go behind this background without seeing white i tried it but on the writing i can see bits of white on the letter outline fadely.

why don't you just use a habbo layout and tweak it up for your school, it will look soo cool.
