No because this is something youtube do, nothing our side.

Threads Merged by Jamesy (Forum Administrator): I think you can ask all your videos questions in here

Obviously we don't have any rules for videos yet, we will start these immediately when Garion gets back from London however for now videos can be posted in visitor messages, however I think it'd be wise to limit this to one video in any visitor message

Another question: Can we post videos with TV shows on them? Basically posting say a episode of House in parts.

Lmao? Im sorry but if your allowing copyright material on the site then Im not really happy as many of my threads and post have been removed due to copyright rules.
Maybe I should start posting warez links if your that relaxed on that rule.

If it breaks copyright then youtube will take it down eventually. That should be the limits we follow.

Just to expand on points here:

    - A limit of videos per post will be decided when we make the video rules
    - Mild swearing is permitted so long as there is a bold warning
    - See Rule A7 in reference to violence.

In terms of illegal youtube videos, they simply won't be allowed, like other illegal content isn't. As James said, YouTube take them down eventually.

Wait, what? You can post videos now?! OK, well I only know what I gather from this thread, but surely there is a way to avoid them opening in a new tab? YouTube videos can be watched from embedded locations all over the place so it's hard to imagine that it's not possible here. As for what is and isn't allowed, wouldn't it be fairly safe to just allow any YouTube video - or just say anything that doesn't breach the current rules? After all, anything illegal or inappropriate is removed by YouTube themselves or in some cases is at least restricted (so login is required which should mean Habbox isn't "allowing" it as such). In the rare instance where something falls through the net, then action can be taken.

I'm not sure, but what I think he meant was when you click play, it plays the video, and then if you click the video image, it takes you to the YouTube page where the video is located. We can play videos on the forum
