I don't know how many lessons but it took me just over one year, and I passed first time

lessons with an instructor? i had maybe 3-4? I dunno how it works in the UK but in Aus whenever i felt like i was ready I could go for it. But they have changed it and now you need 120 hours experience (with any driver)

i did 10 lessons plus an hour before my test so 21 hours.
i'm the star in the reasonably priced car!

Around 12 lessons at 1.5 hours per lesson, plus 1 hour before test meaning 19 hours in total.
