Do you rent or buy them? Because I dunno about adelaide, but in Melbourne renting can be expensive, although there is a company called "Video Busters" who have quite good deals, 6 weeklys for six bucks or summit.

Renting movies is dirt cheap where I live.
    Seriously.

Wow, I'm going to see if I can find you now just to see that! Out of interest, do you go to cinemas much?

I probably average about 1 or 2 per week which, considering how much free time I have, is really disappointing. I generally just see what's on TV at the time as opposed to planning - although we've got Sky+ now so that should help if I happen to notice anything coming up. Also, I have a mate who is almost like Misawa, who has a membership at this awesome independent cinema which we go to so I'm going to do the same as we have quite a few films we're planning to go and see this year.

How can you say that? There's been brilliant films out and brilliant films coming out!

I don't go as much as I'd like. I usually just wait for the DVD unless it's something I HAVE to see. When I wrote for a local newspaper a couple of years back, I was going to press screenings in my city all the time, like 2 or 3 times a week, but now I go occasionally. Despite the fact that I'm still film and TV press for writing for Screenjabber.com, with a 125,000 strong readership, the press screenings are in London 9.5 times out of ten, so my colleagues are at screenings pretty much all week. I'm not too bothered, I get most of the DVD screeners to review. As you can see by what came through my letterbox yesterday morning, I'm not exactly lacking in stuff to watch!

Can't see the pic but awesome Cinemas are far too expensive for me to be going every week.

    Yes, they're very expensive indeed.

Ha, pretty sweet. Does Screenjabber give you a minimum quota of reviews you have to write within a certain amount of time?
