I think they are targeting owners with both a PS3 and 360 like myself. If the content was released on both platforms at the same time I would not know which to get it on but now 360 is getting it 1 month before, I'll get it on 360.

I've gone past my whole COD phase now but I'm thinking of getting it again - and then this map pack - to play with a friend. That means I have to go for the PS3 option. It's worrying though, because the problem of too few people having the maps will be even worse on PS3.

More like 15 maps packaged.

Also the maps are based on popularity to the game mode so if you only stay in one game mode then you won't get some Also some maps don't appear in some modes at all.

Throughout my whole COD playing time, FFA was the only game mode I did for about 99% of the time. For the first few weeks I never saw at least 5 or 6 of the maps, but then suddenly I started playing on loads of maps I had never seen before yet I was still only playing FFA.

The maps I hate most are derail, underpass, quarry and scrapyard.

The ones I do best on: terminal, sub base, wasteland, highrise, skidrow and estate.

My brother thought he had them for free before because there was some new game mode that put him in a lobby with the Crash map but then when the game started it errored lol :L

First day of playing, I got the maps later then everyone else because of the server errors.. I took an immediate disliking to Storm. Campers with SPAS EVERYWHERE! :@ Every corner I turn, a guy with foregrip shoots across the map and down I go.

Yeah this really. I suppose we should stop ******** and get used to the other maps, but it seems odd that MW2 is packaged with what, 6/7 maps and I play nights when I only see 3/4 of them.

I've realised how they've solved the problem for the new map pack. Even if you don't have the new maps, it will still put you in lobbies with them and just force you to leave. Must be annoying for those people but at least it means we don't have to worry about never playing the maps we've paid for. Although I wouldn't mind to an extent because I didn't actually pay for them and the three brand new ones are diabolical.

Oh I see, that's how it works. I thought it was like Gears 2 and COD 4, where the maps don't come up in the lobby if someone in the lobby doesn't have them. Well, I assume it happened on COD 4, I never got the map pack, and I never got kicked out for not having them.

Yeah I know. I only think this because someone was in a lobby yesterday saying that they didn't have the map so were going to leave. Could have been a one off glitch but considering how often I'm playing the new maps, I think this is correct.
