    I thought Metrosexuality revolved more around males who strongly valued appearance as a whole, not specifically concerning makeup.
    I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

    Erm, no?

    A metrosexual man is someone who cares about their appearance as a whole, which covers a more vast area than just make-up, such as dress & hairstyle. This thread is asking just a small segment of metrosexuality, which happens to be about males wearing make-up

    The archetypal metrosexuals have all worn make up, for instance David Bowie, Beckham etc. Whilst that is a gross generalisation on my part, I think someone who cares about their appearance enough to wear makeup regularly for no special occassion is metrosexual.

    Hmmm... David Bowie seemed more androgynous than metrosexual

    No one should wear make up as far as I'm concerned.

    Can I ask why it's called metrosexual anyway? I mean, I didn't know liking clothes and fashion was a sexuality

    from wiki;

    The term originated in an article by Mark Simpson[1] published on November 15, 1994, in The Independent. Simpson wrote:

    Metrosexual man, the single young man with a high disposable income, living or working in the city (because that’s where all the best shops are), is perhaps the most promising consumer market of the decade. In the Eighties he was only to be found inside fashion magazines such as GQ, in television advertisements for Levis jeans or in gay bars. In the Nineties, he’s everywhere and he’s going shopping.
