Anime doesn't usually take advantage of dynamic angles and camera movement like films do, so a lot of anime ends up looking the same. It's interesting spotting similarities though.

Also, aparrently Tite Kubo actually commented on the topic of Nick Simmons copying his work on twitter. He said "Honestly, rather than "does it look alike or not", the fact that Gene Simmons' son is a mangaka is much more on my mind." He doesn't seem bothered.

The ones you posted are similar to each other, but the panels between Incarnate and Bleach are almost identical in some cases, most notably the panels with Kenpachi and that guy from Incarnate.

I haven't watched or read Bleach in absolutely ages but I decided I don't really care anymore and let my friend tell me whats been happening. I also saw him reading the latest chapter. To be honest it sounds like things have really been getting intense in the manga and I really liked the latest plot twist.

Recently in the manga, Ichigo landed a super powerful attack on Aizen while he had a massive opening, and barely hurt him because apparently Aizen has the hougyouku inside him. Aizen tells Ichigo that 'he has come along nicely', seeing what his reiatsu is like after the attack or something, with Aizen saying he planned everything that happened to Ichigo, about him getting his powers from Rukia, having to go to Soul Society to save her, then fighting with Grimmjow and Ulquiorra etc, just to make him stronger, awakening his hollow powers along the way. Then Ichigo is like 'how would you know all this, and why would you plan for me to become stronger?' and Aizen is like 'I've been watching you since you were born, and knew you were the perfect candidate'. Then Ichigo's dad comes in in the screeny that Chris posted.

The plot twist is the whole Aizen using Ichigo as a pawn thing that Axel explained. The image I posted has nothing to do with the plot twist, its just awesome seeing Ichigo's dad again. :8

No, that was in the latest chapter. A new chapter comes out every thursday/friday depending on how fast the translators are.

I have one question for Axel and whoever else is up to date with the manga - is Neliel still around? What happened to her?
