Sigh... I see remaking and 'Hollywood-ising' such an amazing movie like Let The Right One In as an abomination. They are going to ruin that movie.

Plus why the hell are they remaking LTROI under the title of another book by the author of LTROI, why not just turn that book into a film. I'm really annoyed with the very idea of this remake. I can see this remake turning out like the God awful Twilight.

I too am against it as I absolutely love Let The Right One In, but I am curious to see how they handle it. No doubt the whole Eli/Oskar relationship won't be as emphasized and Eli's castration probably won't even be mentioned or seen though. I am dissapoint. Nevertheless they have Kodi Smit-McPhee playing Oskar (who has been renamed as Owen) and he was brilliant in The Road with Viggo Mortensen, so I have high hopes for him in future movies. Also, I think they plan to take more material from the book than the original film did.

It also has Chloe Mortez (Who I love), but not even she could make this remake work. I wish Americans would just watch the damn original and stop Americanizing everything. Sometimes Americans aren't the heroes, can't they deal with that? Let's be serious, if 'Armageddon' was actually happening, Bruce Willis WOULD HAVE, without a doubt, sent the Russian to detinate the bomb. (Not sure if you have seen that movie, but I use it as an example as I just was talking about this with friends IRL and that was the first thing that came to mind so I shall continue with it lol).

Paranormal 2 will be bad, but it'll make money and they will continue cranking out sequels until they have worn out the premise.
