Many people are getting concerned with the decline in values of super rares over the past few months which seems to be directly connected Habbox’s interpretation of throne/hc/super value and it would be helpful if someone from Habbox could explain how you arrive at the values you have published on the site.
This is an example below of where the confusion is coming from:
If a super, say a gold dragon in this instance is sold for 9 thrones and the value of the throne at the time is 145hc’s then the value of that super “at the time” would be 9 thrones (1305hc’s) - yes?
Then some time later the value of a “throne” rises to say 165hc’s
Now, my question is, is the super still worth 9 thrones “the original price paid” which at today’s values @165hc’s per throne would equal 1,485 hc’s or has the super gone down in value, even though none have been traded since which would be the indication from Habbox.com.
I would be grateful for any imput to this subject from the Habbox team or users which will help us understand the valuation system a little better and why super values are declining without being traded.
