If Spurs want to be a CL side they need to cope with these injuries and you can't keep blaming them for loosing although I suppose your whole defence is out. United have had 17 players out for a month or more this season according to MOTD but they can still cope.

Oh and wow Sunderland missed soo many chances.
We can cope but not when they're all out at the same time.
Woodgate has played 3 games all season, King about 15. They are our first choice defensive partnership. Today, Dawson was also injured and so was Huddlestone and Corluka who would be the make-shift central defenders which lead to us playing a championship right back in Walker. Palacios isn't match fit and neither was Defoe. Aaron Lennon has been out since mid-december and won't be back for another few weeks. I reckon Woodgate/King/Lennon's long-term injuries + Huddlestone, Jenas, Corluka, Palacios, Defoe and Dawson ones we have at the moment are just as bad if not worse than Arsenal's. Gallas and Fabregas are only going to miss 6 more games.

RVP is the only player on that long-term injury list who would walk into your first team.

Not making excuses but I don't think that Spurs get enough credit when you consider how the team has managed without key players.

Ball is moving so slowly in the centre circle area.

There are only 6 more games left in the season though. And I'm not saying Spurs have done crap because they haven't. And yeah but how many of your players that have been out for a long time would walk into your first team? At the moment, Arshavin, Gallas, Fabregas and RVP would make our first team so we have 4/11 players out at the moment of our first team.

Woodgate, King, Lennon, Huddlestone (had been out for a month and suffered the same injury again) and Modric if you include his 3 month lay-off at the start of the season.

King is a walking injury anyway. Woodgate, Lennon and Huddlestone yeah but how long as Huddlestone been out for out of intrest? Woodgate has had injury problems for a while too as well I think. The only surprise loss this season for you was Lennon who was really badly missed. We've had players injured that normally never get injured for long periods. I'll give you the CB position which is a big loss for you and is a big loss to so fair enough but I just looked at your outfield squad and you have around 19 players that could do ok in your first team and we have 24 and the top 3 all have around the 25 mark. If you do make the CL spot then you'll need to buy at least 5/6 good players in to stay there.

    EDIT: No it's always been 3 unless it's a friendly I think.

It's not that our squad isn't big enough, granted areas could be improved. The reason things are so bad is because our back-ups are becoming injured. Woodgate's current injury is different to the one he has previously suffered throughout his career so was un-forseeable. Huddlestone had previously been out for 4-5 weeks and in training he injured it again and isn't expected back anytime soon (according to another forum). We played **** today, but a massive reason behind it was because we had to resort to playing Modric in the middle, who was like a Jew in Nazi Germany up against Cattermole and Cana.

God knows what will happen if Gomes gets injured, as Cudicini has been out 3/4 of the season.

Hmm. Whenever I hear Harry Redknapp he always says: 'We weren't expected to get forth place along with Villa so if we don't get it then it won't be a surprise to anyone', and he's basically just covering himself in case Spurs mess up. I don't even think he thinks they will get it. I recon it has to be City or Liverpool. Liverpool will have to win every game left though including Chelsea which will be very hard but it can be done by them especially with Torres and Gerrard getting on form. I can see Spurs messing up again. Villa are out I think. City have to be favourites but they will probably mess up a couple of times too so who knows.

I hope that Liverpool beat Chelsea and we beat City which will mean Liverpool get closer to 4th and we get closer to the top.
