    It seems like not so long ago when Habbohotel.com splintered off into UK, US and Canadian sites. Now they're remerging, I guess they're trying to save costs, or trying to make the brand more 'global'.

    Even if they do tag the rares, it'll make little difference. I mean if you can get a Red Amber Lamp (UK) at 2.0 CS, why would you pay 200.0 CS for a Red Amber Lamp (CA)? - i've been screenshotting the sites anyway, hopefully we can find some rares which will be the best to hold onto.

    I was laughing when USA & CA said they were goign to merge, now it happens to us lol.

    Terrible idea. I like the staff community at uk =[, i hope they're not fired.

    One thing is always the same value - credits. Will we see a huge increase in demand as people look for a stable currency?

    We most likely will do, even with Club sofas maybe as a secondary currency but that depends on the mood in other hotels. At the end of the day, we are all going to be affected and will most likely all be in the same position as eachother.

    We still have the advantage at UK because .com's supers are all more expensive than ours. No matter what, our supers should rise to meet their dropping prices midway.

    It makes sense to me, seeing as how SG and AU and CA all have a peak of about 1,000 users online. So if it's logical that they want to merge all the English speaking hotels considering that, and the fact that a SG/AU/CA hotel would just be goofy.

    Right now it's almost 2 PM in the states, so about 7 PM (19h00) in the UK, 4 AM in Sydney.

    Habbo CA has 248 on.
    Habbo US has 3,662 on.
    Habbo AU has 164 on.
    Habbo SG has 149 on.
    Habbo UK has 9,228 on.

    So only 13,451 would be on right now, at a relative peak time in the UK. I'd imagine the peak in general would be around 15,000 at...
    7 PM in London / 2 PM in New York / 4 AM in Sydney
    12 PM in London / 7 PM in New York / 9 AM in Sydney
    And then on weekends it would probably push up to about 20,000 at those times.
    On ES they consistently have 35,000+ users on at once, so it's actually quite small compared to them.


    The only bad thing I see right now as an American is the names. I understand the US/CA idea where you just get rid of the user who hasn't been as active. But for five different hotels that would be hard...

    But you have to remember, it's also AU and SG too, not just US

    On your own. I imagine some stay in order to deal with the time zone issues but it means they can merge their customer services so lets say each hotel has 10 staff, they could probably have just 10 staff now not 50. PLUS I imagine some MODs can go. I say they should merge the EU, well parts of it rather then countries which are miles apart.
